Steve has been playing with the new electronic duo Marian Hill (Jeremy Lloyd and Samantha Gongol) since they decided to perform their music live. Jeremy showed him the song "Whisky" as soon as they made it and he fell in love. After they made another song or two he decided to record myself playing sax and send it to Jeremy for dissection - those initial bits can be heard in "Got It" and "One Time".
For those unfamiliar with this "methodical, crisp and spare electro-R&B", Marian Hill combines electronic samples, soulful singing, lyrical sensibility, and complex harmonic structures to create what they like to call "Ella Fitzgerald meets Drake"
